Please find attached a flyer announcing “Hearing and Vision Training for 2025-2026“ There is No Cost for this training ($0.00) for our regional school systems (Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, Spalding, & Upson). However, registration is required.
Training Highlights: Participants in this workshop will be trained to administer basic hearing and vision screenings. Screenings are intended to discover students with possible hearing & vision problems that might affect their academic performance.
Target Audience: Only personnel designated by their respective principals to do hearing and vision screenings should register for this training. Participants may include counselors, nurses, paraprofessionals and other personnel.
Note: Participants must bring their schools’ audiometers and LEA vision charts for use in this training! Hands on practice will be included.
Special Note: This specific training is only open to school systems in the Griffin RESA region (Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, Spalding, & Upson)
