Help identify hearing and vision concerns that may impact student learning!
Griffin RESA is offering Hearing & Vision Screening Training at NO COST ($0) to personnel designated by their principals to conduct school screenings.
This training is available only to Griffin RESA regional school systems: Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, Spalding, and Upson.
Participants will learn how to administer basic hearing and vision screenings designed to identify students who may have concerns affecting their academic performance. The training includes hands-on practice using school equipment.
Who Should Attend?
School personnel designated by their principals to conduct screenings, including counselors, nurses, paraprofessionals, and other designated staff.
Important: Participants must bring their school’s audiometer and LEA vision charts to the training.
