Class Description
Focused on letter-sound relationships, this course provides structured, cumulative phonics instruction. Students engage in activities such as decoding and encoding words, using word sorts, and applying phonics skills to reading and writing. The course follows an explicit, multisensory approach using manipulatives like letter tiles, sandpaper letters, and interactive phonics games. This course uses evidenced based strategies from our approved evidenced based materials from our GA approved phonics training programs.
