Class Description
As part of the ELA Unlocked Series, this course focuses on the Big Idea of Vocabulary, which is located within the Language Domain of the new ELA standards. Participants will deepen their understanding of the progression of how students will engage in a wide variety of written and spoken activities during which they expand and deepen their vocabularies, build word analysis skillsets, and determine or clarify the meanings of words and phrases. Collaborating with grade-band teachers will allow the opportunity to bridge this knowledge to practice within the classroom.
