HOT TOPICS:

 

• Our annual program, called Pre-TAPP, is for those interested in teaching but have not yet secured a contracted teaching position. After completing the summer coursework, a list of eligible candidates will be provided to our school systems that may have vacancies for the 2026-27 school year in the participant’s field of study. To qualify for this program, participants must meet the eligibility requirements listed on our website at . Once on the website, please click on the Quick Link titled TAPP & Teachers.

 

• Several of our regional Student Competitions are underway. Results from recent competitions are included in this newsletter and we’ll have more results as they are available.

 

• The application window for our next APEL (Alternative Preparation Program for Educational Leadership) is going on until June 1st for those seeking leadership certification in our 2026-2027 Tier I and Tier II Ed Leader certification cohorts. Additional details are inside this newsletter and on our website in the Quick Link titled Leadership Development & APEL.

 

• We offer over 400 professional development classes each school year serving over 10,000 participants annually. Upcoming classes for March are in this newsletter and on our website at under the Quick Link titled Professional Learning and endorsement offerings can be found under the Quick Link titled Endorsements. We encourage you to check them out as most of our classes are hybrid, so you can attend either face-to-face or virtually.
