Congratulations to winners of the 2026 Griffin RESA Regional Science & Engineering Fair!

(Award Ceremonies were held Tuesday, February 3^rd and Thursday, February 5^th)

The following school systems have winners listed on the attachment (some schools have more than one winner):

Butts County Schools: Henderson MS

Fayette County Schools: Bennett’s Mill MS, Booth MS, Rising Starr MS, Whitewater MS / McIntosh HS, Sandy Creek HS, Starr’s Mill HS, Whitewater HS

Griffin-Spalding County Schools:  Spalding HS

Newton County Schools: Clements MS, Cousins MS, Indian Creek MS, Liberty MS, Newton County STEAM Academy, Veterans Memorial MS / Eastside HS, Newton College & Career Academy

Note: The Griffin RESA Regional Science & Engineering Fair is a regional competition among middle and high schools in the Griffin RESA region. The 1^st place projects in the fair will compete at the Georgia Science & Engineering Fair (GSEF), in Athens, Georgia which will be held March 26-28, 2026.  The top three projects in the Senior Division will participate in the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), which will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, May 9-15, 2026.
