Class Description
In this class, you will engage in differentiated teaching and learning methods and strategies that you can utilize in your own classroom to increase student engagement. Key aspects of this class include assessing student needs based on readiness level, interest, and learning profiles; differentiating by adjusting the content (teaching strategies), process (how students engage with the content), and products (evidence of student learning); and differentiating the learning environment to enhance student engagement.
This class supports teachers’ professional learning goals to meet standards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 of TKES as they further their professional development in the planning and implementation of differentiated instruction.
