Class Description
This professional learning experience is designed to support educators in effectively implementing Georgia’s K-5 Mathematics Standards with fidelity. Using the Mathematics Instructional Framework, participants will explore the four phases of instructional design that guide effective planning and delivery of math instruction.
Through this session, educators will:
- Deepen their understanding of the Mathematics Instructional Framework and its role in effective instruction.
- Examine the Steps of Effective Mathematics Instruction in Georgia to enhance student learning.
- Explore available instructional resources and learn how to access and integrate them.
- Discuss best practices for implementing the instructional units in alignment with Georgia’s standards.
