Class Description
As part of the ELA Unlocked Series, this course takes a deep dive into the Foundations domain of Georgia’s K-2nd grade ELA standards. Participants will gain insight into the organizational structure of the domain and understand the grade level expectations of the standards K-2nd teachers will study how the foundational skills of phonological awareness, concepts of print, phonics, fluency, and handwriting progress across grade levels and will collaborate on best instructional practices to ensure student mastery of the standards.
