Class Description
This session, designed specifically for administrators and instructional coaches, will explore the impactful role of feedback cycles in supporting the growth of induction and novice teachers. By integrating structured feedback cycles, participants will learn how to promote open communication, foster collaboration, and provide actionable insights that help teachers continually refine their instructional practices throughout the year. The feedback cycle consists of two key components: classroom observation and a debrief meeting. During the observation, the observer gathers evidence and artifacts related to teaching and learning. The subsequent debrief allows both the observer and teacher to reflect on current practices, identify areas for improvement, and collaboratively discuss next steps. This process emphasizes the importance of constructive feedback, professional growth, data analysis, and the cultivation of reflective practices to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
