Class Description
This course is designed to provide new teachers with a deeper dive into the basics of effective instructional planning and practice. The instructor will guide teachers through protocols for unpacking standards, explore evidence-based practices, and discuss the importance of clearly communicating expected learning outcomes.
Teachers will also learn about assessment types and how to utilize assessments to drive instruction. Teachers will practice what they have learned with an upcoming course standard. This class supports teachers’ professional learning goals to meet standards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of TKES.
